NATIONAL HARBOR, Md., Oct. 11, 2022—National Harbor salutes the fall season with its Festifall celebration throughout the month of October.
The month kicks off with National Harbor Dessert Week Oct. 9-15 in honor of National Dessert Day (Oct. 14) with Sauciety at Westin National Harbor’s pumpkin bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and caramel drizzle or spiced sweet potato and apple pecan skillet cobbler at TAP Sports Bar, and more. A food drive takes place on the property from October 16 to 21. Participants are invited to donate non-perishable food items at locations throughout the property. Merchants will participate as well with some like Sticky Situations donating goods. Sticky Situation will donate 100 pounds of pasta.
The Taco, Beer, Tequila Festival returns to National Harbor’s plateau lot on Saturday, Oct. 22 and Sunday, Oct. 23 from noon to 6 p.m. daily. A VIP ticket is available on Saturday that lets attendees in at 11 a.m. Tickets are $55-$85 and are available here.
Help support the community with many fall walks raising funds for a variety of non-profits. Move your feet to raise hope for families with the Red Shoe 5K Run & Walk benefiting Ronald McDonald House of Greater Washington, D.C. And, National Harbor will feature football on the Plaza (150 National Plaza) big screen at noon on Saturdays for NCAA games and 1 p.m. on Sundays for NFL games.
Harbor Halloween is back on the waterfront plaza (150 National Plaza, National Harbor) on October 30 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. The children’s Halloween classic movie, Hocus Pocus will be shown at 1 p.m. followed by restaurant chefs and artists’ pumpkin carving contest at 2:30 p.m. Spectators are encouraged to watch the many creative pumpkin transformations and vote for their favorites. Afterwards, the carved pumpkins will be auctioned off to benefit Hero Dogs. While the pumpkins are being carved, National Harbor will host a Pet Pawrade with costumed pets. Prizes will be given for best costume, most creative costume and more.
Also from noon to 2 p.m., children in costume get a free ride on The Capital Wheel with the purchase of adult admission. (Limit two free children per one adult admission. Valid for children ages 10 and under.)
