Cirque Du Soleil Returns to Washington, DC with its Latest Big Top Production KOOZA
Washington D.C., June 4, 2008
Cirque du Soleil will return to the Washington D.C. area at a new location with its latest touring production KOOZA, set to open on Thursday, October 30, 2008. KOOZA will perform at The Plateau at National Harbor under the trademark blue-and-yellow Grand Chapiteau (big top) for a limited engagement. Tickets will be available Sunday, June 8 at 9:00 a.m.
KOOZA is a return to the origins of Cirque du Soleil that combines two circus traditions - acrobatic performance and the art of clowning. The show highlights the physical demands of human performance in all its splendor and fragility, presented in a colorful mélange that emphasizes bold slapstick humor.
