Weather Causes Organizers to Postpone until Friday, June 6
Due to the severe weather that swept through the Washington D.C. region on Wednesday, June 4, organizers of the Yacht Show at National Harbor have decided to postpone the official opening until Friday, June 6 from 11a.m. to 7p.m. The first-of-its-kind in the mid-Atlantic, the show will continue as planned, showcasing grand, luxury yachts seldom seen outside Florida, the Caribbean and the Mediterranean. The Yacht Show at National Harbor will continue Saturday, June 7 from 10a.m. to 7p.m. and Sunday, June 8 from 10a.m. to 6p.m.
“Unfortunately, the severe weather that came through the region today set back our preparations for the Yacht Show,” said Kent Digby, Vice President of National Harbor. “We are extremely proud of this premier event and look forward to sharing it with visitors this weekend.
Produced by United States Yacht Shows, the show will feature new, brokerage and charter yachts in the 60’ to 150’ and up range. The yachts will be available for purchase or worldwide charter. With seminars by the Annapolis School of Seamanship, exhibitors from across the country and tours of adjacent historic Alexandria by land and water, there will be something for everyone at the Yacht Show at National Harbor.
Admission is $16 for all ages and V.I.P. tickets are available for $40. To learn more about the Yacht Show at National Harbor, visit www.yachtshownh.com.
