ALT. ROUTES FOR HEAVY TRAFFIC

From Virginia (alternate route #VA alt 1):

Take 95/495 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. From “Local” Route take MD 210 Indian Head Hwy Exit. Stay in right hand lane for MD 210 South to Oxon Hill Road ramp and follow road to top of the hill and stop light. Go straight through the light into National Harbor and follow signs to National Harbor waterfront district.

From Virginia*  (alternate route #VA alt 2):

Take 95/495 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. From “Thru” Route take MD 210 Indian Head Hwy Exit. Stay in right hand lane for MD 210 South to Oxon Hill Road ramp and follow road to top of the hill and stop light. Go straight through the light into National Harbor and follow signs to National Harbor waterfront district.

From Virginia*  (alternate route #VA alt 3):

Take 95/495 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 3b and turn right on to Oxon Hill Road and stay on Oxon Hill Road for approximately 0.4 miles. Turn right onto National Ave into National Harbor and follow signs to National Harbor waterfront district.

From Virginia*  (alternate route #VA alt 4):

Take 95/495 across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Take Exit 4a and turn right on to Oxon Hill Road and stay on Oxon Hill Road for approximately 1.6 miles. Turn right onto National Ave into National Harbor and follow signs to National Harbor waterfront district.

From Maryland 95/495 (alternate route #MD alt 1):

Take Exit 3b to Oxon Hill/MD 210 Indian Head Hwy. Turn left onto MD 210/Indian Head Hwy then follow signs to Oxon Hill Road and turn right. Stay on Oxon Hill Road and then turn right onto National Ave into National Harbor and follow signs to National Harbor waterfront district.

* Thru Traffic lanes could be utilized during peak traffic times for quicker access to alternate routes.
