Five events, happening in 1 day in DC, Miami, Dallas, Chicago, and Long Beach. September 21.
Red Bull Flugtag challenges teams of everyday people to build homemade human-powered flying machines and pilot them off a 30-foot high deck in hopes of achieving flight. Flugtag may mean “flying day” in German, but all these crafts ultimately splash into the waters below. They are judged not only on their flight’s distance, but creativity and showmanship ss well. National Red Bull Flugtag DC will take place at National Harbor, MD on September 21. Meet all of the teams HERE.
National Red Bull Flugtag IS SOLD OUT! There will be NO tickets available day of the event. If you are a ticket holder, there is a bus location attached to your ticket- that is your only way in. You have to be scanned at the station for entry and then shuttled in. Refer back to your purchase for assignment information.
Gates open at noon and the first craft launches at 2:00pm. There will be remote viewing at downtown DC’s H Street Festival in the Smith Commons adjacent parking lot.
